National forum “Preserving nature for a sustainable coexistence”
Albania is an important point of biodiversity in Europe, but it faces many challenges. The preservation of nature requires a coordination of the actions of all actors for the sustainable management of its resources, to further ensure a continuous coexistence between nature and people.
In the discussion of nature protection issues inside and outside protected areas and to understand the role of civil society organizations focusing on the environment, the national forum “To preserve nature for a sustainable coexistence” was organized, which was held on 26.05.2023 near the premises of Hotel Xheko Imperial, Tirana.
This forum was organized by INCA Albania – Institute for the protection of nature in Albania, within the Green_AL program, which is financed by Sida: Swedish International Agency for Cooperation and Development with the funds of the Swedish Government, implemented by Co-PLAN Institute for Habitat Development in cooperation with VIS Albania, COSV – Cooperazione per lo Sviluppo, #CISP Sviluppo dei Popoli.
