Due to its Mediterranean climate, rare extreme temperature fluctuations, Albanian residential buildings bare low levels of insulation, namely: single glazed windows, poorly insulated walls and rooftops, etc. Such features are particularly relevant to the prefabricated residence apartment blocks built during the communist regime,
